letter from the designer: spring 2016

Here's to the start of our creative evolution in 2016... I could not have started NR without the love and guidance of my Mother. She taught me how to sew when I was a little girl... One of the many great gifts she gave me. She helped me start and sustain this company through her guidance and love. Whether it was business counsel or design opinion, she was my confidant. My life was turned upside down a few months ago when my dear mother passed away.

It happened as I was finishing designing our latest collection, yet I was lucky enough to drop everything and make it to her in time to be with her when she passed. One of the last things I told her is I would find a way to be OK without her. I think that might be the only thing that has kept me standing upright, knowing I made that promise to her.

And I keep my promises...

She was one of the most important people in my life, she was my best friend. So getting our spring collection finished was a challenge, I was in survival mode. My Mom was always my biggest cheerleader and I intended to push forward and get this collection to market. Needless to say my process has changed... a new beginning, an evolution.

I plan to set 2016 on fire, both personally and professionally. I hope you all enjoy being a part of our NR family this year... Get ready, big things happening...
